Girona airport is 25 minutes drive from El Mirador on a scenic drive that is a treat after the short one and half hour flight.

Ryanair flies from London Stansted, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol and Prestwick to Girona and flights have been purchased for as little as £2.49!

BA flies from Gatwick to Girona, £50.00 being an average price and Easy Jet has flights into Barcelona taking approximately one hour and costing around £25 each way.

Hire cars are available at either Girona or Barcelona airport at very realistic rates. Our favourite Hertz is well recommended, the largest car at Girona being a Ford Focus which takes 5 plus luggage.

As you approach Calonge, the local village at the bottom of the hillside, El Mirador Villa can be seen above; a short drive on made up roads will take you to the gated entrance where you will be met by our local representative, Janet Gomez, an English lady married to a Catalan gentleman, who both look after the house, pool and gardens and who will make sure your stay is everthing that you would expect.

The electric gates open to allow secure access to the house up a short drive and into a large turning space with double garage.
